Mozart: Idomeneo – Ballet Music
Dvořák: Symphony No. 7

A new way to enjoy the symphony! Join the National Symphony Orchestra at The Anthem for a casual, one-night-only performance of Dvořák’s mysterious, dramatic Seventh Symphony and Mozart’s Ballet Music from Idomeneo.

Opening the concert is a performance by D.C.-based ensemble Gerdan – Kaleidoscope of World Music, founded by Ukrainian professional duo Solomiya Gorokhivska and Andrei Pidkivka. Gerdan performs a sampling of Ukrainian folk music including original arrangements of the songs and instrumental music from different regions of Ukraine. Through their music, Gerdan’s musicians tell the story about freedom loving Ukrainian people.

This is a seated show.
